Waiting for the Bus in Style

Courtesy of Ron Johnson on the Vent page, we have one of two things, I'm not sure which it is, so I'll let you be the judge.

I like to think that the city has taken it upon themselves to lavish Northsiders with exquisite waiting couches at bus stops. As we know, some buses can take FOR-EV-ER, so having a neat little couch to wait on would be nice. But then there's the issue of what we can only HOPE is cat pee (although tipping one's hat to that of hobo/drunkard pee is far more accurate)

OR, we have the alternative. This couch has come to life, ala Pinocchio, and is waiting for localized transit to take it.... wherever anthropomorphic (having human qualities (i.e. waiting for a bus) for those unfamiliar with the word) couches go, maybe that little furniture store on Penn and Broadway?

Either way, look for these new installments in comfort at a bus stop near you!!!!

Take Me Out...

Apparently, the city has a little extra in their account, so how do they spend that extra bit of money? Hire more officers, summer school programs, or maybe litter patrol?

Nope.

Get some people to attach some baseball stickers to the downtown Target. I'm no economics expert, but pay for these guys (there were 4 of them, for whatever reason), the cherry picker, the cost of the numerous stickers and whatever they had to pay Target to be allowed to attach these eye sores to the building (or whoever owns the building).

Priorities. They got'em.

I like to consider myself well-educated and open-minded, I was pleasantly surprised to see that, overnight, a Japanese gang moved in, or I assume such, based on the newly tagged StarTrib mailbox. Never thought I'd see a Japanese gang, especially here of all places. :D

Whoever says NoMi doesn't have cultural diversity can suck it, we got all types of gangs here. I hope you'll all join me in welcoming our new friends!!!!
